ABOUT SPEAKERS:

Dr Ertan Erel, MD, FRCSEd, MSc, FRCS (Plast) is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at University Hospitals of North Midlands. He graduated from Aegean University, Izmir, Turkey and worked in the Turkish National Health Service before moving to the UK. He completed his junior surgical training in East Yorkshire. He has performed a year of full-time research within the field of plastic surgery and was awarded the degree of Master of Science by the University College London.

He completed his plastic surgery training in the West Midlands Region and obtained an Intercollegiate Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery (FRCS Plast). His fellowships include cosmetic surgery in Istanbul and microsurgery in Gent, Izmir and Cambridge.

His special interests in the NHS include breast reconstruction, with particular emphasis on perforator free flap (DIEP flap) in the microsurgical reconstruction of the breast, complex rhinoplasty and skin cancer.

Mr Erel’s interests include all aspects of aesthetic facial, breast and body contouring surgery. Examples of private operations he performs include; breast augmentation and revision surgery, mastopexy, breast reduction, fat grafting, abdominoplasty, Brachioplasty, thigh reduction, liposuction, body contouring following massive weight loss, rhinoplasty, prominent ear correction, and skin surgery as well as non-operative procedures like Botox and fillers. Mr Erel is registered with insurance companies such as BUPA, Cigna, AXA PPP and Aviva.

Mr Erel has an extensive research portfolio, having published 25 papers in peer-reviewed journals and 50 presentations at both national and international meetings. He has written a chapter in a plastic surgery book called “Breast Reconstruction: Art, Science, And New Clinical Technique”, in 2016. He regularly writes plastic surgery articles in Turkish newspapers published in the UK. Mr Erel is a member of BAPRAS, BAAPS and the Turkish Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and at the editorial board for the Turkish Plastic Surgery Journal.

Dr Özge Öztürk, DDs PhD is graduated from Ankara University Dentistry Faculty in 1999. Right after her graduation, DDs PhD. Özge Öztürk started her PhD at the department of prosthodontics, at the same university. Following her graduation, she started to work at a dentistry office in Ankara till 2007. DDs PhD Özge Öztürk has worked at Medicana Group between the years 2007-2009. In 2009, she joined Aydınlar Dental Group which is in corporation with Acıbadem Healthcare Group, and she has been working at Acıbadem Fulya Hospital Oral and Dental Polyclinic since then. DDs PhD has been treating international patients from different regions around the world, mainly from Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom and Middle East countries for more than 10 years. DDs PhD Özge Öztürk is a member of Turkish Prosthodontics and Implantology Association and Turkish Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. She has more than 10 publications in different journals.

Kemal Sidar, has started his professional life as Business Development Manager in 2003 in Istanbul. He worked at corporate companies in between 2003-2007. Afterwards, he has established Etkin Proje (Istanbul-TR)(currently the market leader company on its domain) R&D Project Management and Consultancy Company on 2007 and he is currently managing partner of Etkin Proje. He is also the founder of London Bridge Project (London-UK) which is specialised in online (Amazon/E-commerce) and offline (Direct/Field) end to end sales management and representing several international companies from various countries in the UK.

He has deep experience at undertaking the overall sales management process including finding customers, networking, cold calls, etc. on behalf of the customers who are willing to sell their products/services to the UK and from the UK to the world! 

Kemal has published a book about R&D project management and incentives and wrote several articles for newspapers, magazines, blogs and web sites about the UK market, cross border sales and sales management. He was awarded several times such as Fortune Magazine as “promising managers under 40 years old”, and Fast 100 growing companies and Information technology companies 500 awards. Recently he has awarded by Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (2019) as the best newcomer company in the region.

He is member of several chambers and one of the board member of Turkish British Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
